private health verifications will re-open January 8th, 2025 at noon 〰️
In an effort to best serve our existing clients, we will only be accepting new private health insurance verifications on a quarterly basis. We will open verifications and accept only 30 new verifications on the first Wednesday of each calendar quarter at 12 NOON DAY OF. If Wednesday is a holiday, they will re-open the following Wednesday.
We so appreciate the amount of people in our local community who are prioritizing their wellness, and we are doing this in hopes of creating more lasting relationships with a more manageable influx of clients. If you’d still like to book an appointment, you may seek reimbursement directly from your insurance company using something called a Superbill. For more information, feel free to call or email!
If you need care sooner, we have put together a small referral network of other local offices that could potentially work with your insurance. Click here for a list of referral options.
Start Here--Requirements for Billed services
Our verification process is changing, please see the message above for more information about how to submit your information.
Working directly with your insurance company requires a bit more front-end work than our regular service offerings. Prior to any booking, a verification must be completed. If you book an appointment prior to verification, that appointment will be paid out of pocket.
Simply showing your insurance card upon arrival does not constitute verification of your coverage.
Follow the appropriate link below, submit your information, and our insurance coordinator will be in contact with you to discuss your coverage. Verification is usually completed within 2-3 weeks after submission
If you have more than one insurance plan (primary & secondary), please submit the appropriate form a second time, indicating whether the coverage is primary or secondary.
Each individual must submit verification information separately, even if they are on the same plan.
What to expect
Upon verification of your coverage, our coordinator will reach out to you directly to review your coverage, including your visit limits, copays, and deductibles (if they apply).
A new client profile will be created for you. This will allow you to complete our insurance agreement, a health intake, and view appointment history and upcoming appointments.
Monitoring your balance is a shared responsibility. While we make every effort to collect from your insurance company first, service charges are ultimately your responsibility.
After completing your initial verification, you may book online or over the phone. See "booking billed services online" below for more information.
Booking billed services online
Motor vehicle accident and worker's compensation appointments cannot be booked online. Please contact our front desk for assistance with booking those appointments. For private health insurance, please adhere to the following information.
Always refer to your coverage limits when booking. If you have a 60-minute visit limit, only book 60-minute sessions.
Refer to the list of in-network practitioners if your coverage allows for in-network practitioners only. Even if you have out of network coverage, copays are often higher and deductibles may apply. Please refer to your coverage details.
Upon booking, please select from the "billed services" category of appointments.

What types of insurance can we work with?
Private Health Insurance
The most common plan we bill is private health insurance. These are plans you participate in through your employer or the insurance marketplace.
Plans that cover alternative care will often combine benefits with other services such as chiropractic care, acupuncture, and naturopathy.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
If you've been in a car accident, a portion of auto insurance called personal injury protection (PIP) will be activated if an injury is sustained. The amount of PIP coverage on a policy will vary, but $15,000 and $25,000 are common limits.
PIP coverage opens you up to a wide variety of rehabilitative services such as medically indicated massage therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and physical therapy.
As with private health insurance, we will work direclty with your insurace adjuster to verify coverage and submit claims.
Worker's Compensation
If you were injured on the job and a worker's compensation claim is involved, you may be eligible for alternative care services as part of your recovery.
Submit your claim information above by clicking "Verify My Motor Vehicle or Worker's Compensation Benefits."
MedPay
MedPay is an additional coverage that can be found on some insurance policies such as auto policies, business liability policies, or homeowner policies.
If you were injured on someone else's property or were in a motor vehicle accident, MedPay coverage may apply.
If you're unsure if you may have coverage, submit your claim information by clicking "Verify My Motor Vehicle or Worker’s Compensation Benefits" above.
Medicare/MedicAid
We currently cannot accept Medicare/Medicaid for our services, but we are currently in the registration process to accept them.
Please keep an eye on this page for more information in the future.
For all billed services standard rates apply and may not be combined with any discounts or promotions.
